Heripack Verpackungsmaschinen GmbH & Co. KG revised their delivery programme and offers interesting solutions for end of line packaging: beside case erectors, top loader, case sealers the range of products includes also side loaders for case packaging.

A side loader is a case packer for pre-glued case blanks, so-called American Cases. The blank is opened and transported through the machine lying flat, bottom and lid flaps open. The products are grouped and filled into the case laterally via the open bottom or lid flaps. After that the flaps are turned and bottom and lid are closed via hotmelt or adhesive tape.

Side loaders are mainly used for products which are difficult to grip or to be sucked.

Cartoning machines which work mainly with pre-glued carton blanks of cardboard are also offered by Heripack Verpackungsmaschinen GmbH & Co. KG. They belong also to the category of side loaders.
